All five participants in the NXT TakeOver: XXX North American Championship Ladder Match have now been decided, as Johnny Gargano and Velveteen Dream join Damian Priest, Bronson Reed, and Cameron Grimes in what's sure to be a chaotic encounter.
Gargano faced newcomer Ridge Holland to earn his spot, and despite taking a very nasty bump (see below), "Johnny Wrestling" managed to defeat his much larger opponent with the One Final Beat DDT.
Then, Velveteen Dream faced off against Finn Balor in a match we were originally supposed to see three months ago. After a pretty good back-and-forth encounter, interference from the rest of the Ladder Match competitors and Timothy Thatcher (there's Balor's next feud) allowed Dream to hit his Purple Rainmaker elbow to score the pinfall victory.
