Io Shirai is now a certified badass after turning heel during this week's NXT TV tapings and laying waste to her former friend Candice LeRae with a kendo stick.
A heel turn is usually accompanied by a new look, and some fans in attendance captured footage of the Genius of the Sky making her way to the ring on the next taped episode.
As you can see, Io is now sporting black leather (the standard heel ensemble) and comes out to some pretty banging new entrance music.
Shirai will most likely feud with LeRae for while, bit this turn may suggest that Mia Yim is going to defeat Shayna Baszler at TakeOver: Toronto if Io is indeed being lined up as the next challenger for the title.
