This past Wednesday, NXT GM William Regal officially announced that the yellow brand would introduce a secondary championship at the upcoming Takeover: New Orleans PPV.

The new belt will be known as the North American title, and the first ever champion will be crowned after a 6-man ladder match involving EC3, Killian Dane, The Velveteen Dream, Ricochet, Adam Cole, and Lars Sullivan.

Now, the new North American Championship has been unveiled in a video featuring Triple H hyping up the highly-anticipated match.

"There is a saying that there can be only one first-ever. Well this Saturday night, in the shadow of WrestleMania, at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans with the whole world watching live on the WWE Network … six men will step into the ring in a ladder match. With this hanging above them.”

We think it's a damn fine looking old-school title, but check out the video below and let us know what you make of it.
