WALTER is your new NXT UK Champion, but Pete Dunne most definitely did not go down without a fight.

Despite The Ring General outweighing The Bruiserweight by almost 100lbs, this was actually a pretty evenly matched contest for the most part, with Dunne working on the Austrian behemoth's fingers and even managing to get the big man up for his Bitter End finisher at one point. That wasn't enough to get the job done, though, and WALTER ultimately prevailed when he hit a devastating powerbomb and followed it up with a frog splash for the 1,2,3.

This ends Dunne's historic and unmatched (in the modern era) 685 day reign as United Kingdom Champion. There's speculation that the Birmingham native may now move up to the main WWE roster, but we think he'll be sticking around in NXT UK for a while to reassert his dominance.
