The main event for TakeOver: Blackpool II is officially set.

On January 12th, Joe Coffey will try to end the title reign of WALTER, as the two faction leaders will collide inside the squared circle for the prestigious NXT UK Championship. The feud between Imperium, Gallus, and Ilja Dragunov has gotten to a point where the NXT UK locker room has become a war zone.

The championship match was made official on Thursday when WALTER and Coffey signed a contract for the title match at Blackpool II. WALTER has dominated the NXT UK brand ever since winning the United Kingdom Championship from Pete Dunne back at TakeOver: New York; however, Coffey is no stranger to big championship matches on grand stages.

Coffey is a former ICW World Heavyweight Champion and Scottish Heavyweight Champion, will the Scotland native add the NXT UK Championship to his impressive resume? We’ll find out on January 12th!
