Next year, WWE's Worlds Collide event will make its return.

This time, it will be NXT vs. NXT UK in a battle of the brands. The event is scheduled a day before the Royal Rumble event, which is Saturday, January 25, 2020. The company is advertising NXT Champion Adam Cole, WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, and NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray.

This will be the second year that the Worlds Collide event will take place, as the promotion hosted the special show this past year with NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live competing. Velveteen Dream ended up winning the entire event and received a North American title match against then champion, Johnny Gargano.

It's been confirmed that their will be no NXT TakeOver event on the Royal Rumble weekend. The next show will take place on February 16th in Portland, Oregon.
