The Meta-Four has split up, but not due to any kind of in-fighting angle or someone turning on the group. Instead, they've amicably decided to go their separate ways.
Last week on NXT, Noam Dar defeated Lexis King to win back the NXT Heritage Cup (which he holds the record for the longest time and the most times). He had been out of action for a year, last wrestling on the April 16, 2024 edition of NXT.
While they were celebrating this win backstage, Lash Legend said that a lot has changed since Dar has been away. Without The Scottish Supernova, they all needed to step up, and that's what Oro Mensah has done as his own man over on WWE EVOLVE. Meanwhile, The Meta-Girls had their opportunities in Saudi Arabia, on the main roster, and in TNA, and it's time for them to spread their wings as well and do their own things in singles competition.
They all agreed, and shared one more group huddle, while talking about how they still support one another.
This means even The Meta-Girls appear to be no longer a tag team going forward, too. Given how often WWE does this at this time of the year around the WWE Draft timeframe, this could be a great indicator that the game plan is for Dar to stay in NXT, Mensah to say in EVOLVE, Jackson to stay in NXT, and Legend to move up to the main roster and be drafted to either Raw or SmackDown whenever the 2025 WWE Draft takes place (as it has not yet been announced).
Elsewhere on the episode, which could be the start of something of a faction or just a one-off on-screen pairing, The Undertaker interrupted an interview Oba Femi was having about how there will be a 25-man battle royal next week to determine his next challenger for the NXT Championship at NXT Battleground.
Taker reminded him that it's his yard right now as The Ruler of NXT, but he also warned him that he has some talent from LFG who are coming for him. This prompted Anthony Luke, Shiloh Hill, and Jasper Troy to show up as a unit.
More than likely, that is not a tease of them being a group going forward, but just three guys from LFG that are going to get a spotlight. However, there's always a chance that with the roster shuffling around, and with the WWE Draft coming up, we could potentially see this as just the start of a new faction.
