Since signing with NXT, Karrion Kross' star has been on the rise, but he was once a top name in IMPACT Wrestling. He asked for his release from the company last May, and well-publicised disagreements with management eventually led to him disappearing from television.

We've previously heard that him wanting more money and increased creative control were the main sticking points, and IMPACT saying "no" to that is what ultimately brought him to NXT.

During an interview with ESPN, Kross opened up about some of the issues he had with the promotion. "I was very angry at that time and I was very, very, very determined to find a way to find the fulfillment that I was looking for in my life," he explained. "Regardless of whether or not certain people agreed with my perspective or not. I say that as respectfully as possible."

He's clearly ready to move on from his time there, and recently established himself in NXT by defeating Keith Lee for the NXT Championship. Lee was then moved to RAW, so there will be no rematch, and while Kross did separate his shoulder, he's not expected to be gone for long.

Are you excited to see what comes next for him?
