The latest edition of WWE NXT for April 8, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— Io Shirai became the No. 1 contender to the NXT Women's Championship by winning the six-woman ladder match.
— A rerun aired of Finn Balor's match with Alexander Wolfe from NXT UK (which Balor won). Balor's feud with WALTER is far from over, even though it's been put on hold due to the travel issues and such.
— Another vignette aired to hype Killer Kross.
— Rinku Singh and Saurav Gurjar, who are part of Malcolm Bivens' stable Bivens Enterprises, go by the tag team name Indus Sher. Indus Sher defeated Ever-Rise (Chase Parker and Matt Martel) by pinfall.
— Adam Cole congratulated Velveteen Dream for beating Bobby Fish, but he still thinks Dream isn't worthy of a title shot. The more Dream pushes it, the closer he gets to the day Cole wakes up and decides its time to end the Velveteen Dream Experience.
— It was announced on The Bump that due to Jordan Devlin being unable to defend the NXT Cruiserweight Championship for the time being, a tournament will begin next week that will
