The latest edition of WWE NXT for December 23, 2020 took place from the WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch defeated Drake Maverick and Killian Dain by pinfall to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship in a Street Fight.

— A Very Gargano Christmas was a vignette of Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae acting like parents and recording Indi Hartwell and Austin Theory opening Christmas gifts. Gargano gave Theory some Gargano Whey protein powder. Indi's gift was not the PlayStation 5 box that she unwrapped. Instead, they've christened her with the family nickname of Johnny Wrestling and the like. She is now "Indi Wrestling"

— Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Jake Atlas by pinfall

— Rhea Ripley defeated Dakota Kai by pinfall. Ripley and Raquel Gonzalez fought after the match until they were split up by referees.

— Bronson Reed defeated Ashante "Thee" Adonis by pinfall in a complete squash.

— Mercedes Martinez attacked Io Shirai from behind.

Leon Ruff defeated Timothy Thatcher by pinfall. Tommaso Ciampa came out after the match to hit a DDT on Thatcher and challenge him to a Fight Pit match.

— Tyler Rust defeated Ariya Daivari by submission.

— Leon Ruff will get a rematch for the North American Championship next week.

— Adam Cole defeated Velveteen Dream by pinfall.
