The latest edition of WWE NXT for January 13, 2021 took place from the WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Candice LeRae defeated Shotzi Blackheart by pinfall.

— Finn Balor cut a promo about beating Kyle O'Reilly again and retaining the NXT Championship last week. Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch attacked him, but The Undisputed ERA came out to help him fight them off.

— Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) defeated Ever-Rise (Chase Parker and Matt Martel) by pinfall. They will face either Kushida/Leon Ruff or The Way's Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory in Round 2 of the tournament depending on who wins that match.

— Johnny Gargano defeated Dexter Lumis by pinfall.

— Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: MSK (Wes Lee and Nash Carter) defeated Jake Atlas and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott by pinfall.

— Xia Li defeated Valentina Feroz by pinfall with ease after just two hits.

— Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: The Undisputed ERA's Adam Cole and Roderick Strong defeated Breezango (Fandango and Tyler Breeze) by pinfall.
