The latest edition of WWE NXT for June 17, 2020 took place at Full Sail Arena in Winter Park, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) defeated Breezango (Fandango and Tyler Breeze) by pinfall to retain the titles.
— Velveteen Dream was interviewed and asked about his relationship with Dexter Lumis. As far as Dream is concerned, he's a solo act. All he did was help out Lumis to return a favor for Lumis having helped him before.
— Damian Priest beat Killian Dain by pinfall. Afterward, Dain knocked Robert Stone down by smacking the plexiglass around ringside. Aliyah then helped Stone get back up prior to the next match. Aliyah beat Xia Li by pinfall after Stone threw up in the ring and it distracted Li enough for Aliyah to roll her up.
— Timothy Thatcher was shown conducting another class, teaching some submission maneuvers.
— Roderick Strong talked to the other members of The Undisputed ERA in an edition of Undisputed Therapy. He's still obsessing over Dexter Lumis and ran away when he was confronted with the car trunk that Lumis shoved him in.
— Keith Lee told Adam Cole that he would be the one to take the NXT Championship from him, rather than Karrion Kross, and smashed the sand timer. After another promo with Cole, Lee, Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor, William Regal announced two title matches. Next week, Lee will defend the North American title against both Gargano and Balor in a triple threat. The winner of that will face Cole on July 8th in a Winner Takes All match.
— Dakota Kai (with Raquel Gonzalez) defeated Kayden Carter (with Kacy Catanzaro) by submission.
— Mercedes Martinez was hyped up as "coming soon" in a vignette, despite how she's been in NXT for months.
— Bronson Reed defeated Leon Ruff by pinfall. After the match, Reed called out Karrion Kross for next week.
— Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart by submission to retain the titles.
