The latest edition of WWE NXT for June 3, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— Mia Yim and Candice LeRae fought to a double-count out to start the show. A brawl erupted between them as well as Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez vs Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart. After Johnny Gargano and Keith Lee came out to join the fray, William Regal switched up the match to a mixed tag team match. Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano then defeated Mia Yim and Keith Lee in that mixed tag team match by pinfall.
— Drake Maverick spoke on his tournament final match later tonight, saying at least he finally gets to know whether or not this is his last day in WWE or if he will become champion.
— A Prime Target special vignette showed off the feud between Velveteen Dream and Adam Cole ahead of TakeOver: In Your House. Their match will be a Backlot Brawl.
— Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Tony Nese by pinfall with some help from a distraction by Gentleman Jack Gallagher.
— In a triple threat match to determine the No. 1 contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championship titles, Breezango defeated The Undisputed ERA (Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong) and The Brit-Am Bruisers (Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch) by pinfall. After the match, Imperium (Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner) came out to pose, but were followed by Malcolm Bivens and Indus Sher (Rinku and Saurav) who put everyone on notice, too.
— Footage was shown that Chelsea Green fired Robert Stone as her manager last week.
— Santana Garrett defeated Aliyah by pinfall
— Another Prime Target vignette featured Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai to explain the triple threat feud that is taking place for the NXT Women's Championship at TakeOver: In Your House.
— Cameron Grimes defeated Bronson Reed by pinfall.
— Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Final: El Hijo del Fantasma defeated Drake Maverick by pinfall to win the title. After the match, Triple H came out to offer Maverick a new NXT contract, which he signed.
