The latest edition of WWE NXT for March 11, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— Keith Lee retained the North American Championship over Cameron Grimes by pinfall.
— Mia Yim defeated Dakota Kai by pinfall to qualify as a participant in the ladder match at TakeOver: Tampa which will determine the No. 1 contender to the NXT Women's Championship.
— Kushida defeated Raul Mendoza by submission.
— Austin Theory pointed out that Tyler Breeze hasn't been as successful as some others who have come through the WWE Performance Center. Breeze called Theory a flash in the pan.
— Rhea Ripley cut a promo on Charlotte Flair, who then came out and talked some trash of her own. They fought and Flair ended up the victor.
— Raul Mendoza was abducted backstage by two men wearing luchador masks.
— Tegan Nox defeated Deonna Purrazzo by pinfall to qualify as a participant in the ladder match at TakeOver: Tampa which will determine the No. 1 contender to the NXT Women's Championship.
— Velveteen Dream spoke on how his plan was always to get to Adam Cole and that he's going to win the title at TakeOver: Tampa. Cole doesn't think he's earned a title shot.
— The BroserWeights (Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne) retained the NXT Tag Team Championship over The Undisputed ERA (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) by pinfall.
— Tommaso Ciampa called out Johnny Gargano, who complained that Ciampa never apologized for what he did to him. They fought each other throughout the Performance Center, ruining some workout equipment, shattering a giant mirror and jumping off part of the set and crashing through the commentary table.
Next week, Adam Cole will celebrate being the longest-reigning NXT champion and Candice LeRae will face Mercedes Martinez in a qualifying match.
