The latest edition of WWE NXT for October 14, 2020 took place from the WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— NXT Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender's Match: The Undisputed ERA (Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong) defeated The Brit-Am Brawlers (Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan) by pinfall to earn a shot at Breezango's tag titles.

— Ember Moon was spotlighted in a video package.

— Jake Atlas defeated Ashante "Thee" Adonis by pinfall and then immediately stood side-by-side with Adonis to fight Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde. Santos Escobar came out as well and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott evened the odds against Legado del Fantasma with some chairs. That will likely set up a six-man tag team match for next week.

— Johnny Gargano defeated Austin Theory by pinfall

— Candice LeRae defeated Shotzi Blackheart by pinfall with the use of brass knuckles she passed over to Indi Hartwell after the match.

— Toni Storm defeated Aliyah by pinfall.

— Imperium's Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel defeated Drake Maverick and Killian Dain by pinfall. After the match, Ever-Rise went after Drake Maverick and Killian Dain took them both out before saying no one beats up Drake except him.

— North American Championship Match: Damian Priest defeated Dexter Lumis by pinfall to retain the title.
