The latest edition of WWE NXT for September 1, 2020 was a special edition called SUPER TUESDAY and took place from the NXT Arena at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Six-Man Street Fight Match: Breezango (NXT Tag Team Champions Tyler Breeze and Fandango) and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott defeated Legado del Fantasma (NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde) by pinfall. Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel of Imperium interfered, but the babyfaces were able to overcome the numbers odds.

— Candice LeRae defeated Kacy Catanzaro by pinfall. Before that match, Tegan Nox had a video about how she wants to get her friendship with Candice back on track. Post-match, Candice cut a quick promo about how she wants to get on the same page, too.

— Rhea Ripley challenged Mercedes Martinez to a steel cage match, which will take place next week.

— Timothy Thatcher defeated Bronson Reed by submission. Austin Theory attacked Reed during the match, which allowed Thatcher to capitalize for the win.

— Fatal 4-Way 60-Minute Iron Man Match for the Vacated NXT Championship: Adam Cole vs Finn Balor vs Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa ended in a draw with Cole and Balor both scoring 2 points and Gargano and Ciampa having 1 point. Balor and Cole will fight next week to determine which one of those two will be the next champion.
