Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who September have missed it:

— Fatal 4-Way Match: Candice LeRae defeated Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, and Mia Yim to become the No. 1 contender to Shayna Baszler's NXT Women's Championship.

— Cameron Grimes defeated Sean Maluta by pinfall after just one move.

— Roderick Strong defeated Velveteen Dream to win the North American Championship.

— Pete Dunne defeated Arturo Ruas by submission

— Xia Li defeated Aliyah by pinfall

— Kushida was set to face Denzel Dejournette, but Imperium attacked Dejournette during his entrance (before Kushida came out). WALTER cut a promo and Kushida interrupted to say they took his time away from him, so their time now belongs to him. They temporarily fought, with Kushida getting in some shots before backing away before the numbers game could catch up to him.

— Lio Rush defeated Oney Lorcan by pinfall in a No. 1 Contender's match for a future Cruiserweight Championship shot.

— Street Fight: Matt Riddle vs. Killian Dain was a no-contest. The match was thrown out after a dozen or so NXT Superstars got involved in the fight and it was ruled that order wouldn't be restored.
