Night 1 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver took place Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from inside the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida in a simulcast on both USA Network and the WWE Network on Peacock.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this show, as well as the full breakdown of match results for those who might have missed it:

— Zoey Stark defeated Toni Storm by pinfall in a bonus match that took place on the pre-show.

— Pete Dunne defeated Kushida by pinfall.

— No. 1 Contender's Gauntlet Eliminator Match for a shot at the NXT North American Championship on Night 2: Bronson Reed defeated Cameron Grimes, Dexter Lumis, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, LA Knight, and Leon Ruff.  He will face Johnny Gargano for the title tomorrow night.

— NXT UK Championship Match: WALTER (c) retained the title over Tommaso Ciampa by pinfall.

— Triple Threat Match for the Vacated NXT Tag Team Championship: MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee)defeated Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) and Legado Del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) to win the titles.

— NXT Women's Championship Match: Raquel Gonzalez defeated Io Shirai (c) by pinfall to win the title!
