WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020 took place Sunday, December 6, 2020 from inside the WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida.

— WarGames Match: Team Candice (Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez and Toni Storm with Indi Hartwell) defeated Team Shotzi (Ember Moon, Io Shirai, Rhea Ripley and Shotzi Blackheart) by pinfall as Gonzalez scored a pin on Shirai after powerbombing her off the turnbuckle through a ladder.

— Tommaso Ciampa defeated Timothy Thatcher by pinfall

— Strap Match: Dexter Lumis defeated Cameron Grimes by submission.

— NXT North American Championship Triple Threat Match: Johnny Gargano defeated Leon Ruff (c) and Damian Priest by pinfall over Ruff to win the title with some help from a variety of people dressed up as Ghostface from Scream. One of them unmasked and it was Austin Theory.

— WarGames Match: The Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong) defeated The Kings of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch) by pinfall with O'Reilly scoring the win over Lorcan.
