Today's episode of WWE NXT UK for January 7, 2021 took place at the BT Sport Studios in London, England.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Jinny defeated Piper Niven by pinfall with a little help from interference by Joseph Conners. Jinny is now the No. 1 contender to the NXT UK Women's Championship and will face Kay Lee Ray sometime down the road.

— Ben Carter was on Noam Dar's talk show Supernova 11 Sessions. He mistook Carter for Ben Carpenter. Jordan Devlin came out to complain that he should have been the guest instead. Carter challenged Devlin to a match for later in the night, which Sid Scala came out to confirm.

— Kay Lee Ray spoke about Jinny being her next challenger, saying Jinny normally gets everything she wants, but that won't be the same for the title. That takes talent.

— Dave Mastiff defeated Saxon Huxley by pinfall.

— Announced for next week is WALTER against A-Kid and Sam Gradwell against Tyler Bate.

— Jordan Devlin defeated Ben Carter by pinfall to retain the NXT Cruiserweight Championship title.
