Today's episode of WWE NXT UK for October 22, 2020 took place at the BT Sport Studios in London, England.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Eddie Dennis defeated Oliver Carter by pinfall. After the match, Dennis invited Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews to join him next week in a discussion that he will mediate, as he's implied Andrews and Webster have been the ones attacking each other.

— A vignette aired that hyped the impending return of Joe Coffey. It was also noted that NXT UK will be airing at 4pm ET next week instead of 3pm ET and that Jordan Devlin will return on next week's show.

— Nina Samuels defeated Amale by pinfall. Following the match, Samuels said she will be turning her attention to Piper Niven.

— Trent Seven defeated Kenny Williams with a 2-1 score to advance to the next round of the NXT UK Heritage Cup Tournament to face Dave Mastiff in the semi-finals.

— There was a contract signing for next week's NXT UK Championship match between WALTER and Ilja Dragunov. As per usual with contract signings, the two decided to fight and Dragunov came out standing tall.
