Today's episode of WWE NXT UK for October 8, 2020 took place at the BT Sport Studios in London, England.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— Xia Brookside and Dani Luna defeated Nina Samuels and Amale by pinfall

— Ilja Dragunov told Sid Scala he wants a match against WALTER and Alexander Wolfe next week. When asked who his partner will be, he pointed to Pete Dunne, who accepted the challenge. That match will take place next week, as well as Dave Mastiff against Joseph Conners in an opening round match for the NXT UK Heritage Cup Tournament.

— Saxon Huxley defeated Jack Starz by pinfall

— A-Kid defeated Flash Morgan Webster with a 2-1 score to advance to round 2 of the NXT UK Heritage Cup tournament. After the match and a video package hyping up WALTER against Ilja Dragunov, it was shown that someone attacked Flash Morgan Webster backstage.

— Kay Lee Ray cut her State of the Union promo. Out came Nina Samuels, Amale, Isla Dawn, Dani Luna, Xia Brookside, Piper Niven, and Aoife Valkyrie. A brawl started and eventually, everyone was fighting each other. Kay Lee Ray walked off, but was met by Jinny, who brought her back into the fight.
