WWE has announced today that Brooklyn is going to be hosting NXT TakeOver for the third year in a row. It was back in 2015 that the brand first moved outside of Orlando for a TakeOver event and after selling out the building, it quickly became clear that the one-time developmental brand had taken off in a bigger way than ever expected.

Titled TakeOver: Brooklyn III, the show will hail from the Barclays Center on Saturday, August 19th, one night before WWE SummerSlam emanates from the same building.

It was WWE COO Triple H who announced the event's return on Twitter earlier today and he also confirmed that tickets go on sale this Friday. They always sell out fast, so if you're planning on going, you're going to want to act fast before they sell out.

Previous TakeOver: Brooklyn events were headlined by Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe, so it will be interesting seeing which direction it takes this year with a roster arguably nowhere near as exciting as in the past. What do you guys think?
