It looks like WALTER is WWE-bound.

According to PW Insider, the Austrian indie sensation, who is currently based in Germany, has signed a contract with the company and will most likely compete for the NXT UK brand. In a recent interview, WALTER debunked rumors that he was heading to The US to join the promotion, stating that his "base will always be Germany,” but it looks like WWE was able to get him to rethink that stance.

The 31-year-old big man has worked for several different promotions, including WXW in Germany and PROGRESS. He was also PWG champion but recently dropped the title to Jeff Cobb, which first led to speculation that WWE may have scouted him.

We'll have to wait and see if this is officially confirmed, so keep an eye on The Ring Report for updates.
