Today, WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne is celebrating 500 days as champion.

On May 20, 2017 at NXT Takeover: Chicago, The Bruiserweight defeated Tyler Bate in a fantastic back and forth match to capture the United Kingdom Championship after failing to do so in the company’s first UK tournament back in January 2017.

Dunne has fended off the likes of Roderick Strong, Johnny Gargano, and Zack Gibson to remain the top dog on WWE’s NXT UK division. While the company is still trying to understand how to start the UK division, WWE clearly has faith in Dunne as the face of the division.
