Will Taya Valkyrie become the second woman to hold the Impact World Championship?
We’ll find out next week, as Tessa Blanchard will defend her belt against the former Impact Knockouts Champion.
Both women have a long history between one another as Valkyrie beat the third-generation star at Homecoming last year to win the Impact Knockouts title. The Canada native would follow that up with another victory in a Street Fight for the championship.
Following the big title win, both talents would go their separate ways with the 36-year-old going on to become the longest reigning Knockouts Champion.
Blanchard would end up winning the Impact World title at Hard To Kill; however, two weeks later, both women would cross paths again in a tag team match. Austin and Valkyrie would get the victory over Trey Miguel and Tessa Blanchard. Now, Valkyrie will look to continue her win streak against the 24-year-old next week. Will Tessa Blanchard’s title reign be short lived?
