Bray Wyatt was defeated by Randy Orton at WrestleMania with a single RKO, a disappointing conclusion to a feud that saw The Fiend burned alive and return with a new look...only to quickly abandon it (it wasn't great). While it looked like WWE had a fresh direction planned for Wyatt the following night on RAW, he's since vanished.
Many believe that was in an effort to keep the spotlight on Alexa Bliss' new gimmick, but with fans back at shows, now feels like the right time to make use of the former Universal Champion.
Unfortunately, PWInsider.com is reporting that there is still no timetable for Wyatt's WWE return.
Apparently, those in the company have remained quiet in regards to his status, only saying that he's being kept off television for a specific reason (what that is hasn't been revealed, but it's not believed to be a creative issue). Wyatt is among those advertised for upcoming RAW shows next month, but this report very much makes it sound like we won't be seeing him for a while yet.
Wyatt did recently answer a few fans on Twitter, and it seems like he's just as anxious to come back...
