A Major WWE Star Has Tested Positive For COVID-19 And Will Likely Miss WRESTLEMANIA

There were recently rumblings of a COVID-19 outbreak in WWE, and it's now been confirmed that a major main roster star is at home recovering...and will likely miss this year's Showcase of the Immortals!

Charlotte Flair has announced on Twitter that she's tested positive for COVID-19.

This explains why she's been absent from RAW in recent weeks, but doesn't clear up WWE's thinking behind her removal from WrestleMania advertisements.

There's been plenty of online chatter that Flair is unhappy with how she's been booked this year - The Queen has spoken publicly about not enjoying that weird Lacey Evans storyline - and Andrade's recent release likely hasn't helped matters. This by no means she's on her way out of WWE, but it's looking increasingly likely that she won't be booked for the Show of Shows.

That was evident from last night's RAW when Rhea Ripley was named as Asuka's opponent. Originally, it looked like Flair would be challenging for the title.

WrestleMania is still a few weeks away, but whether Flair will be able to compete by then is hard to say. Booking her into a match this close to the event also seems unlikely.

Needless to say, we wish Flair a speedy recovery!
