Alberto El Patron Believes He Will Return To WWE For One Final Run Somewhere Down The Line

Alberto El Patron's last WWE run didn't go particularly well and he left under something of a cloud. However, he's since repented by apologising to Triple H and Vince McMahon and is now eyeing one final run...

Alberto El Patron (a.k.a. Alberto Del Rio) left WWE after an altercation backstage with a member of the production crew and after a surprise return to the company which saw him defeat John Cena for the United States Championship, he once again walked from WWE away after being misused when he was paired up with the League of Nations, a terrible faction that never really went anywhere.

Since leaving WWE, El Patron has made some very unsavoury comments about the company but later apologised and has since said that he would like to return for at least one final run with them. Now, he's reiterated that he wants to come back and even has some ideas for who he wants to face!

"Just off the top of my head, the first name that crossed my mind is Rey Mysterio Jr. He is one of my best friends, a fantastic athlete and a real life legend. He would be the perfect person to do a world tour [with] to say goodbye to the pro wrestling business. There’s a lot of names out there, a lot of amazing performers that I would love to wrestle again like Dolph Ziggler, Ken Anderson and many others in the business. I have always stayed the same because I have a good relationship with Vince McMahon, the owner of the biggest, most prestigious company in the world. I am pretty sure I’ll be back one day before I decide to retire. I will go back there to have a last final run. Maybe I’ll have the opportunity to work with all those wrestlers I used to work when I was working for that company. We used to have a lot of fun every single night."

Well, he's certainly had a change of attitude and you have to believe the door could be open for him to return...if WWE can find a space for him! The roster is pretty stacked right now and with Andrade "Cien" Almas rising up the ranks, there may not be space for Del Rio. What do you guys think? Are you optimistic about him returning to WWE or are you happy with how
