The contract signing between John Cena and Roman Reigns on RAW this Monday took a very interesting turn when the two started breaking the fourth wall and mentioned things like Cena turning heel and Reigns being unable to replace the leader of the Cenation because he's not doing his job as well as he should. Many believe that real life animosity may have played into this exchange.

Well, as interesting a story as that would make, it's simply not the case. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that the whole thing was scripted well in advance and that Vince McMahon spoke personally with both Cena and Reigns about what he wanted to happen.

However, one key moment was not scripted and that was when Cena started making fun of the fact Roman had forgotten his lines. It was an embarrassment for the divisive wrestler whose weakness is definitely his promo work so you have to believe that Cena making fun of this flub got his blood boiling! The two are set to come to blows at No Mercy on September 24th and the signs are pointing to this being an exciting feud...
