Another WRESTLEMANIA 34 Main Event May Have Been Revealed And It Sounds Awesome

We know that the plan is to have Roman Reigns battle Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34, but who will headline the SmackDown Live side of the show? It's a dream match!

We've only just managed to recover from this year's seriously lengthy WrestleMania, but WWE is already looking ahead to next year's edition in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. It's already been reported that the current plan is to build to Roman Reigns taking aim at Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, but what will SmackDown Live's top Superstars be getting up to at the Showcase of the Immortals?

According to Billi Bhatti of The Dirty Sheets podcast, the main event for that brand is going to be AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. While the two have clashed over in Japan, this is a WWE dream match and one which definitely feels worthy of headlining WrestleMania even if Reigns will more than likely wind up in the actual main event spot.

Apparently, the plan is for Styles and Nakamura to form a tag team, with one turning on the other out of jealousy. That will likely be Styles, and given how popular he was as a heel, turning on Nakamura (who has become a hugely popular babyface in the eyes of fans over the course of just two weeks on the main roster) could really get him over as a bad guy. As always, take this with a pinch of salt for now, but be sure to stay tuned for additional updates.
