The first three competitors for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match were decided this week on Raw, with Asuka, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax emerging victorious in their respective matches.

First up, The Empress of Tomorrow secured a hard-fought win over Ruby Riott by forcing the one-time Riott Squad leader to tap-out to the Asuka Lock. Next, The Queen of Spades was awarded a victory over Sarah Logan because she was unable to continue after having her arm stomped on in what proved to be a very realistic spot. The ring announcer actually said that Logan had won (possibly believing that Baszler had been disqualified), but the commentators quickly corrected his error.

Finally, Nia Jax pretty much squashed Kairi Sane. We get that WWE wants The Irresistible Force to look as strong as possible since she's just returned from injury, but this really should have been a more competitive match. After all, Sane took Shayna Baszler to her limit just a few weeks ago.

At any rate, the Women's MITB Ladder Match is starting to come together, and we'll most likely find out which SmackDown Superstars will take the remaining spots this Friday.
