Baron Corbin Cashed In His Money In The Bank Briefcase On SMACKDOWN LIVE Tonight... And Lost!

You can add Baron Corbin's name the the very short list of WWE Superstars (Mr. Kennedy, John Cena and Damien Sandow) that cashed in their Money in The Bank briefcase and did not succeed in taking home the championship.

As Smackdown Live was winding down tonight, Corbin interjected himself into the main event and cost John Cena his match against WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Then, noticing a prone Modern Day Maharajah lying in the ring, The Lone Wolf decided to seize the opportunity and cash in his briefcase.

Unfortunately for Corbin, a momentary distraction from Cena allowed Jinder to roll up his opponent for the pin.

Props to WWE for not making this one too predictable, I guess, but it does make one wonder if this was always the plan, or if Corbin maybe pissed someone off he shouldn't have!
