Braun Strowman Is Reportedly Demanding A HUGE Amount Of Money For Appearances Following WWE Release

No one could quite believe it when Braun Strowman was released by WWE, especially as it was only a matter of months ago that he was in one of WrestleMania's main events alongside Shane McMahon!

The former Universal Champion even opened WrestleMania Backlash in a huge triple threat match, but despite claims that he'll never work for any other pro wrestling company, the Monster Among Men is now having to set up what looks set to be his post-WWE career.

According to PW Insider, Strowman is already charging a five-figure booking fee for appearances on the indies. Promoters have understandably been reaching out to him about possible bookings, and the asking price is said to be in that range (you have to believe it's closer to $99,000 than $10,000, though).

The reason for the high fee is because Strowman was making $1.2 million a year in WWE plus royalties and bonuses. That's a big part of why he was released, and the former WWE Superstar will need to be extremely careful he doesn't ask for too much and then gets passed over because promotions can't afford him or don't feel that it's worth paying him such a large amount of money.

Due to WWE's 90-day non-compete, Strowman won't be a free agent until the end of August.
