Braun Strowman was among the Superstars released by WWE earlier this month, and we've since learned that he's seeking at least five figures to make future appearances outside the company.
Well, the Monster Among Men would later counter that, taking to Twitter to say, "Let me just get this FYI out. I have not spoken to anyone about bookings. But if you wanna talk business the email to my agent is in my bio. Thank for any confusion you may be reading online."
PW Insider has countered that by revealing promoters have been dealing with Strowman's manager with the fee he's demanding outside of what most companies are able to afford in this pandemic era.
Apparently, Nick Antocelli is seeking at least $20,000 - $25,000 for three-hour appearances, with a request for first-class airfare, two nights at a hotel, all Strowman's meals, and ground transportation.
As you might expect, that's just not possible for the vast majority, and it seems Strowman will have little to no bookings unless these demands are changed. The former Universal Champion was making upwards of $1.2 million per year in WWE, so he clearly believes he's worth that sort of money. However, a big part of why WWE released him is because his contract was so massive.
There's been no word yet on whether Strowman hopes to sign with AEW or IMPACT Wrestling.
