Brodie Lee, formerly known as Luke Harper in WWE, made his debut for All Elite Wrestling last night as the leader of The Dark Order. Lee had been under contract with WWE for quite a while without seeing in-ring action, and it was public knowledge that he was unhappy with how he was utilized as a singles competitor when The Wyatt Family split up.
Now, Lee's old friend Bray Wyatt has brought up his debut on Twitter by saying, "it's just me and Rowan now." This is a clear reference to their time in The Wyatt Family with Erick Rowan, who is also in the process of being buried as a singles star on Raw.
Lee actually made a reference of his own during his first AEW promo, telling Chris Daniels that he "wasn't the first out of touch old man not to believe in him."
Hopefully AEW gives Lee a proper chance to shine, because the guy is a terrific talent.
