Charlotte Flair Returns To RAW And Makes Short Work Of Mandy Rose After Issuing An "Apology" To Referee

During last Monday's episode of RAW, Charlotte Flair took a loss to Asuka and proceeded to brutally attack the match's referee. Later that night, it was announced The Queen had been "indefinitely suspended" and fined $100,000 for her actions; well, that didn't last long because Sonya Deville had other ideas how to deal with Flair.

Saying that Adam Pearce rushed his decision, Deville gave the former Women's Champion the opportunity to apologise. Flair did exactly that, sharing a "sincere" apology with management, fans, and even referee Eddie Orengo. He accepted, and admitted that had he seen Rhea Ripley interfere, Flair would've been handed the victory.

With that, Deville lifted Charlotte's suspension and booked her in a match with Mandy Rose. However, before that could happen, Flair demanded an apology from Orengo (she is a heel, remember) and got him to lift the ropes for her as she left.

Rose managed to get in a surprising amount of offense in that bout, and a close call with the official very nearly cost Flair the win. She did ultimately walk away victorious, but was once again irate at the referee. It's hard to say what WWE is building to with this, but we'd hope her new heel persona isn't all about getting mad at officials!
