Lance Storm has confirmed that he's officially unemployed after being released by WWE (where he served as a producer), and former All Elite Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho isn't happy about it. Storm was initially furloughed in April, but it seems the company decided not to bring him back as this Tweet coincides with the non-compete clauses of released Superstars lifting.

Originally, Jericho responded to Storm's tweet with, "In this biz? That’s a hell of a run! Now @WWE and Vince McMahon need to pull their heads out of their collective asses and re-hire you! #lanceisagenius" Interestingly, he lated delated that and removed any mention of the WWE Chairman.

We're not sure what led to that, but Jericho and Storm have a stored history in the wrestling business. They first met at the Hart Brothers School of Wrestling while training, and later teamed up in Japan, Mexico, and Smokey Mountain Wrestling. The All Elite Wrestling star has even said he would want Storm to be his final opponent in the squared circle.
