Fightful is reporting that after 7 years of being unable to compete in the ring after a forced retirement, RAW commentator Corey Graves has been cleared for action. He's talked a lot about wanting to wrestle again, and briefly got physical on television last November when he briefly won the 24/7 Championship before losing it to Bryon Saxton.
Apparently, Graves has been training with his brother Sam Adonis and, like AEW's Bryan Danielson, it appears enough time has passed for doctors to clear him after past concussion issues.
Whether WWE has any in-ring plans for Graves moving forward obviously remains to be seen.
In related news, Nikki Bella recently expressed her shock that WWE announced her Royal Rumble return in advance but confirmed this won't be a one-off. "In the world of any professional sport, people always make comebacks, but what’s beautiful about WWE is that we can make comebacks as many times as we want as long as our bodies [and doctors] let us. I’ve officially got cleared."
This doesn't necessarily mean we should expect a lengthy run from Nikki in WWE again, but the door definitely appears to be open to us seeing more of The Bella Twins in action (Brie is also coming back).
As always, stay tuned for updates.
