RAW ratings have been rapidly declining for a while now, and many expected the post-Clash of Champions episode to record an all-time low number for WWE's flagship programme. While the PPV was mostly well-received, it also featured a lot of questionable booking decisions and didn't exactly leave a lot to look forward to the following night!
Well, much to the surprise of pretty much everyone, this Monday's effort actually saw an increase in viewership.
According to Showbuzz Dailly, RAW drew an average of 1.822 million viewers on the USA Network. That's a noteworthy increase from the previous Monday's 1.667 million viewers. As well as being up against Monday Night Football, there was also competition in the form of a big NFL game.
The 18 - 49 demons saw hour one do a 0.58, hour two do a 0.54, and then a 0.52 in hour three. In terms of hourly viewership, RAW did 1.746 million viewers to start with, with 1.692 million viewers in hour two, and 1.687 million viewers in hour three. That was an increase across the board compared to last week.
The prevailing opinion at the moment is that only die-hard fans are tuning in each week, but this is still a solid rise from RAW's record low viewership on July 13th with 1.561 million viewers.
