With Seth Rollins set to team up with Cody Rhodes for a match with Roman Reigns and The Rock on Night 1 of WrestleMania, the Visionary's World Heavyweight Championship match with Drew McIntyre has been somewhat overshadowed.
However, in a new interview, the Scottish Warrior made it clear he's not going to be forgotten.
"I made my feelings pretty clear on the show last week, that his focus should be on the World Championship, his focus should be on 'Raw,' and he shouldn't be...spreading himself so thin," McIntyre says in the player below. "But at the same time, it seems [like] it's coming from a selfish place to me."
"He was trying to convince Cody to have the match with him, instead of finishing the story, which Cody promised everyone he was going to do. And the fans were clearly saying 'We don't want this. We want Cody to do what he said he was going to do, and finish the story.'"
"He lied to The Rock," McIntyre said, making it clear he's no fan of the American Nightmare either. "He's wondering why The Rock is being like this, he said 'You can have this match.' Then he didn't give it, he took it away. So Cody's a liar, but that's not my business over at 'SmackDown.' They can handle it over there."
He added, "When I'm champion on 'Raw,' it's going to be all about 'Raw,' all about my roster on 'Raw.' I don't care if 'SmackDown' is on fire and they're on their knees begging for help. I will not pee on them to put that fire out, cause that's a them problem. And I'm focused on 'Raw' responsibilities, as he should be."
Elsewhere in the interview, McIntyre also shared his thoughts on CM Punk. They started feuding before the Best in the World was injured - an injury which McIntyre inadvertently caused at the Royal Rumble - and it sounds like the possible future World Heavyweight Champion is anxious to step into the ring with Punk...
...even if he does hate him!
"Huge name, garners a lot of attention not just from the hardcore fans, but the casual fanbase knows who exactly he is," McIntyre started. "He sells tickets, he's a draw, but he's a terrible human being."
"It seems like much hasn't changed from talking to people that I know regarding his personality, and he came back I felt a certain way. I didn't just mess him up, I took him out and took his spot. Karma is a b***h."
"I just hope he's careful, I'm worried he's going to injure something else during rehab. Man's made of glass," McIntyre concluded. "I want that match, I really want that match, I am just concerned for him. Especially wrestling someone like me, I'm a freaking monster in there."
