Lately, many talents in the WWE have been voicing their unhappiness over there position within the company. We’ve seen multiple wrestlers announce their request to be released, and huge speculation about stars such as The Revival, Sasha Banks, and Mike & Maria Bennett asking to exit the promotion.
Drew McIntyre understands the mindset of the wrestlers who feel unhappy with their current position in the company; however, the former WWE Intercontinental champion does believe that many wrestlers have lost perspective when it comes to working for the promotion:
"I can look around now and see people who have lost perspective," McIntyre said of the WWE locker room during his interview with The State Journal-Register.
"They're perhaps tweeting about how upset they are and their lack of opportunity instead of bettering themselves or working harder outside of the ring. They're clearly not going to the gym and they don't have that fire anymore, and I understand it because I was there. And I can spot it because I was that guy."
The Scottish Psychopath has made it his mission to get rid of those superstars who have lost their fire or become complacent with their role in the WWE:
"It's my job and my character's job to get rid of those who don't necessarily have that fire and remind me of my younger self," stated McIntyre. Check out the
