Let the teases begin.

On Sunday morning, WWE released a cryptic teaser of a man walking. They never show his face and even go beyond the legs. Thus far, WWE has only released three of these cryptic teasers and they’re all essentially the same.

However, it’s an exciting prospect that someone could be returning or even making their debut on RAW, Smackdown, or NXT. Though the vignettes were released on the main WWE channels on social media so it’s likely that the teasers are for someone who’s coming up to the main roster.

So who could it be?

Fans are certainly coming up with their predictions and there's some interesting takes. One commentator thought it could possibly be the return of the Fiend (assuming that Bo Dallas will take over the character).

Another thinks that Edge may finally come home after his AEW excursion.

There's numerous people coming up with Chris Jericho or Gunther.

As of now, nobody knows. However, there are some interesting theories on who it possibly is. I think it comes down to three contenders: Gunther, Oba Femi, or Omos. Now this is just pure speculation on my end, but given the type of ominous music that WWE is using then it seems to lean towards a giant/monster type character.

Gunther has been out indefinitely since Summerslam. Gunther defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk and the latter captured his first WWE world title in over ten years by beating him clean. Gunther has been out since with the company explaining his absence is due to injury. There’s been rumors circulating that Gunther could be John Cena’s final opponent; however, that has yet to be confirmed as true.

Omos has not wrestled on WWE television since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2024. The WWE star competed in 2025, but those matches were in Pro Wrestling NOAH and TripleMania. What’s interesting is that Omos has been working NXT live shows in the past month. They even had Omos come face to face with Oba Femi at a live show in Cleveland, Ohio. Was WWE gearing Omos up for his eventual return?

In terms of Oba, he hasn't been on NXT television since he lost the NXT Championship to Ricky Saints at No Mercy. Oba Femi has done everything he could do in NXT; however, recent reports suggest that officials weren’t looking to call him up just yet.

Of course, there’s other names who haven’t been on television such as Tony D’Angelo, Santos Escobar, Austin Theory; Hopefully, this little mystery has a strong payoff.
