There has yet to be any information put out there about the 2025 WWE Draft, which normally takes place relatively soon after WrestleMania. As more events get announced and WWE continues to say nothing at all about this show, it's becoming more and more possible that there actually won't be a dedicated draft special this year, and instead, individual trades on a whim may be what WWE opts to do going forward.
What may be another sign of this took place on the May 16, 2025 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, as it was announced out of nowhere, unprovoked, that former NXT women's champion Giulia is now part of the blue brand.
This went down in a backstage segment where Alexa Bliss was interviewed by Byron Saxton about how she had just won a Triple Threat match over Chelsea Green and Michin to qualify for this year's Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. Bliss was distracted by noticing Charlotte Flair was within earshot, standing outside the office of SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, so she decided to go up to her and follow up on their brief conversation from last week.
Bliss expressed that she and Flair should have a friendship of sorts, based primarily on something from their past that she hasn't forgotten about. According to Bliss, when she first came into NXT, Flair took her under her wing, and she essentially wanted to return the favor and help her out now. The Queen was dismissive of this, saying that they were never close and that she doesn't remember what Bliss was talking about.
That's when the door behind Flair opened up and Aldis came out with Giulia, quickly introducing all three parties to each other and referring to The Beautiful Madness as the newest member of the women's division for SmackDown.
Strangely, nothing at all was spoken about Roxanne Perez, who has been teaming with Giulia over the past month or so on Monday Night Raw. Given how Perez was specifically not mentioned in any capacity, the logical assessment is that she has not also been signed to SmackDown, and that their tag team is over and done with. Whether that means Perez is going to be drafted over to the Raw roster—possibly as soon as this upcoming Monday night's episode—remains to be seen, but it would certainly be odd for Giulia to get called up and for Perez to still be hanging around in NXT.
It's also worth noting that at the time of this publication, WWE hasn't announced anything else regarding the qualifying matches for Money in the Bank—only that Aldis wanted to talk to Flair about the pay-per-view—which could mean that Giulia may be in the running to participate in a qualifier of her own, possibly even against Flair.
