Ken Anderson (then Mr. Kennedy) enjoyed a pretty good in run in WWE before being released, allegedly for not taking enough care of Randy Orton during one of their matches. He then went on to compete for TNA/Impact Wrestling where he worked his way up the ladder to become one of the top guys in the company.

While appearing on the latest episode of Steve Austin's podcast, Anderson revealed what it was like working for both promotions, and what frustrates him the most about WWE's current product:

“The thing that’s frustrating to me is that it seems to me that guys are told, and girls are told, exactly what to do paint-by-numbers,” Anderson said. “It’s not ‘just go out there and try some stuff and see what works and what doesn’t work’ and it’s just people are handed a script and told, ‘say this exactly verbatim.’ That’s what’s frustrating to me. I wish more people were given the opportunity to fail on their own or succeed on their own. That’s the only thing that really frustrates me.”

Many other wrestlers have said similar things about the company, and it definitely does sound like something that would seriously stifle creativity.

By all accounts, Ken left WWE with a lot of heat on him, but as we've learned numerous times in the past, that doesn't mean that he won't make a comeback someday.
