Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose Reveals Why She's In No Rush To Make Pro Wrestling Return

Mandy Rose was unceremoniously fired by WWE after posting what they deemed "X-rated" content on social media. Now, a year on, she reflects on the past 12 months and reveals why she's in no rush to return.

Mandy Rose was released by WWE when the company took issue with a series of risque images she'd posted on social media and subscription websites. When it was deemed too "adult" for their PG audience, the decision was made to fire her despite what had proven to be a massively successful fun in NXT.

The Golden Goddess held the NXT Women's Championship for 413 days and was well on her way to returning to the main roster as a top female Superstar. Since leaving WWE, she's focused on that subscription-based content, reportedly earning as much as $1 million per month.

Needless to say, that's considerably more than she made in WWE.

Talking to Busted Open Radio, Rose admitted she hasn't had any desire to step back into the ring a year on from her firing.

"I'm actually a little surprised. I thought that I would get [the itch] coming up on almost a year. But I really haven't," she admitted. "But I do miss certain things 0 don't get me wrong. I miss the camaraderie. I miss my friends over there. I speak to them a lot. I miss that adrenaline rush, of course, but the itch to get out there and wrestle right now? I don't have it right now, I have to be honest."

"I will say the fans are the ones that would make me want to come back, to be honest," she added. "Not to say that I wouldn't want to do it for myself, but do I need to do it? Probably not. But if I would do it, it would be for the fans. And I'm not just saying that, because I really grew a tremendous fanbase from 'NXT' those last two years as champion."

As for what her life has been like away from in-ring competition, Rose added, "It's been amazing. I can't complain. I've had a lot of ups and downs, just like anything. Since I've been away from it, the fear for a lot of us in the wrestling world it's like, 'What am I gonna do after this?' I've had a lot of great opportunities come my way, so I'm grateful."

WWE has forgiven worse over the years, so it's not outside the realm of possibility that Rose chooses to one day return. However, it sounds like she doesn't need to and, now she had a brand, that alone might be enough to deter her from stepping back into the squared circle.

She's making a ton of money from Onlyfans. Why would she go back to a job where she's damaging her body every day falling down, that pays less?
