Former WWE Tag Team champion Rene Dupree did not take John Cena's promo on RAW last week well.
To recap, the multi-time world champion took part in a segment with Vince McMahon while vying to become the new #1 contender for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. During his promo, Cena seemed to put down previous talents during the Ruthless Aggression era, calling them "misfits" and "rejects". Dupree caught wind of the segment and expressed his anger on his weekly YouTube series “Cafe De Rene Raw.”
“I happened to see a clip of this past week’s SmackDown with my favorite and yours, John Cena,” explained Dupree
. “He was in the ring with ‘Moneybags’ McMahon talking about the Ruthless Aggression era, my era. Saying how it was filled with misfits and rejects.”
“Well, ‘Super’ Cena, let me explain something to you. Over the past four or five years, your people have been showing up at my shows, signings, and there was even one douchebag that called my house a half dozen times. Are y’all butthurt that I actually have a life? That I’m actually busy without you? That I can get it done without the WWF?”
Dupree went on and did his own version of Wheeler Walker Jr.’s hit song, “Pussy King.” Check out the bizarre rant from the former WWE superstar:
