Former WWE/WCW/TNA/ECW Star Raven Shares His Thoughts On A Possible Return To The WWE

Scott "Raven" Levy was one of the most "over" stars in ECW history and a multiple time champion, and although he did have stints in every other major wrestling company over the years, he never enjoyed the same kind of success.

In addition to his unorthodox wrestling style, Raven has always been known as one of the best minds in the business, and has a tremendous grasp of the psychology of the game. Because of this fans have often wondered if he'd ever try his hand as a writer or agent in The WWE, but it doesn't sound like Raven is particularly interested.

Here's what "The Martyr for Society's Dysfunction" had to say when asked about the possibilty of a creative stint in WWE by ESPN:

“No, I wouldn’t take it. Here’s the problem– creative you’re just a cog. The problem is you create great ideas and then you don’t get to see them come to fruition. That’s so taxing to me emotionally because you get so involved in the characters. So that would suck. As far as being a backstage agent, I don’t have any interest in that because I’m not using my creativity in any really strong way. You’re just an agent, so that wouldn’t interest me. It’s a whole different world now.

The old days I would’ve definitely been a booker somewhere, but now it’s a 24-hour, 7-day a week job. I have no interest in being on the road that much because after 30 years of being on the road I’m happy at home.”

Can't really argue with that - although it is a shame, as Raven's warped, but brilliant mind could be just what the company needs right now.
