WWE is scrambling to come up with a plan for WrestleMania, something which is easier said than done thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, following the news that WrestleMania will be held across two nights and multiple locations, Dave Meltzer has added some context on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio.
Apparently, the plan is for the company to air gimmick matches for WrestleMania from locations other than the WWE Performance Center. There's no word on what those locations might be, but they're all going to feature closed sets with no live crowds.
Meltzer added that the majority of matches will end up taking place in the WWE Performance Center, though, and that does make sense.
So far, only seven bouts have been announced for the Show of Shows, with Randy Orton vs. Edge expected to be confirmed by Monday. That's going to be a Last Man Standing match, so chances are that it too will end up taking place from elsewhere.
Stay tuned for WrestleMania updates!
