The WWE Network is now part of the Peacock streaming service, and that's not been without its issues. Regardless, something that grabbed everyone's attention earlier this week was a listing on there which indicated that Daniel Bryan is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2021.
He was listed as a "2021 Hall of Fame Inductee" on the new-look WWE Network, leading to speculation that this year's WrestleMania could serve as his retirement.
At the Show of Shows, Roman Reigns is defending the Universal Championship against Edge; however, following the events of last Sunday's Fastlane PPV, it's believed Bryan will be added to the match to make it a Triple Threat (it feels like 2014 all over again, but that's not necessarily a bad thing).
So, what's the deal with Bryan?
Well, PWInsider has confirmed that this was an accidental error which came up when a new collection of Bryan-related videos were added to the streamer (they were miscategorised under an Eric Bischoff collection). The one-time WCW boss and WWE authority figure has obviously already been confirmed for the 2021 class.
The 2020 inductees include John "Bradshaw" Layfield, "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, the NWO (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman), and The Bella Twins. Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Kane, and The Great Khali are all confirmed for 2021, while Rob Van Dam is rumoured.
